Changing indicators
« on: 02 March 2014, 04:56:12 pm »
Hi all.

Got an 03 foxeye and want to change the indicators but am unsure what look to go for.

Anyone got any pics and suggestions? I'm pretty open minded just some inspiration would be nice

Thanks

Personally i feel that the clear indicator lenses look the nicest....you retain all the original indicators & can easily change back, & the colour change makes more of a difference than you'd think.

Unfortunately my front end is fightered but i'd like clear lenses for the rears.

Anyone got any links?

I changed mine for flush led units on the fz1, looks a lot cleaner, but the indicators are nowhere near as bright.

I'm probably not thinking LED because of having to buy the relay and all that too, so normal stuff - noggy, I semi agree but definitely want something smaller IMO

I don't mind the standard indicators, at the end of the day it's not a sports bike. If u have a rack or want one bare in mine the standard indicators are best at the rear.

I've always had these on my bikes!

Small without hindering functionality, where they're quite a high wattage bulb they're pretty damn bright!

Also makes life a lot easier on my ZX9R as it means that my soft panniers don't sit on the indicator stems and bend them, but obviously that will different from bike to bike :)

Pretty sure I'll never have a rack or anything like that anyway, just something a touch smaller with a few other bits I'll be doing

Joe, quite like those but perhaps with clear lenses.

Bright does appeal to me too obviously - where do you have long and short? Front or rear for the long ones?
