Wobbly indicators!
« on: 25 January 2014, 06:34:17 pm »
Soooooo, as the title suggests my indicators "flap" for the want of a better word when going over bumps.

There is also a vibration at certain revs that can be cured by holding the indicators still, I have the gist of what should be done from the hot poop guide,
But for the life of me can't get the retaining clips to release them from the fairing, it feels like I'm going to break something, I can see the clip squeezing but the rest of the round part of the base doesn't release :-/

Has any one done a photo guide On this yet?

Other than that it's been brilliant!

James

Can't leave them it's too irritating!

This is coming from someone who goes mad when someone's put sockets back on a rail in the wrong order, it's petty but I can't not do anything about it :-D

My indicators not exactly tightly fixed up front either, but annoying vibration on bike turned out to be upper fairing where the mirrors bolt through. Made some lovely gasket type things out of old inner tube n bingo! a quiet life  :)
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it..
