polished me bike to within an inch of its life as I was taking it down for a potential part ex

got up the next day and it hammered it down all the way to the dealers.......bike was f*****g rotten when I got to the there :lol

the upside was that I discovered the dealership was wank, as was the bike I'd gone to see

Installed a rev counter and a voltmeter on the RE.

Voltage drops significantly with light switched on

Very smart, the meter pods look really good, Love the colour of the Enfield, is it the carbed or injected one? A mate has an older carb model (500 Bullet) with a Swallow Jet on the side.

The pods are made of aluminum. First Intention was to use stainless steel but with my DIY possibilities it is hard to finish.
But the aluminium is stiff and stable enough. It is a fuel injected one from 2010.

I made only the brackets to fit the gauges to the fork plugs. Normal mounting is with a clamp to the handle bar. But I did not like that.
Here are the gauges:

And here is a picture of the standard brackets and my cardboard templates:

Yesterday was a beautiful crisp blue sky day in the south, so had a day out on the Speed Triple to follow the annual Veteran Car Run down to Brighton.Called in at The Chalet on the way, never been served so fast. All in all a good day out and the newly fitted heated grips certainly paid off on a few occasions.

That looks really cool 👍 if I had one bit of advice it would be to remove the Xmas child from the side, should save you a good few MPG on wind resistance alone 😉
