2001 diesel astra estate, had it 6 years, used 3 alternators before the garage spotted the leaky water pump above it. Who designed that?

Been thining about this one for a few years now...just need to get on and do it before its too late   :rolleyes....scotland was fantastic last year but I think I can go one better this year   ;)

What map did you get Paul? I've borrowed a couple of ADAC ones from a work colleague to help plan mine and Midden's trip in July, they look pretty good. Think he picked them up on various tours whilst over there, might do the same.

hi nick...i bought a PHILIPS multi scale.it was the best w h smiths had and at £12.99 a bargain   ;)   plan to use sat nav which will be my next purchase.......will start a new thread nearer the time  :)

Replaced the FJs Wiring loom with a brand new one as all the wet weather that we have had has killed the original.

Worked on the cage - 2 new wishbones (total bastard job), 1 new shock, changed ATF (smooth now), new thermostat, fitted 2 new front brake lines and bled through.  Oh the joy........ :rolleyes


Fazer getting TLC tomorrow..........

Nope, Ovlov V70 2.4T chipped to 260Bhp, poly bushed, uprated shocks/brakes. Upsets a few people when they get burnt  :lol :lol

It shifts quite well for a brick & handles pretty good for a barge now its been played with. Trouble is, I only use it weekends and mainly for towing the Pikey Wagon so need an estate for kids stuff etc :rolleyes .  You can still burn the chavs though, hits 60 in about 6.5, tops at 150mph, stops on a sixpence, corners well and looks totally standard which is the fun bit :lol . Neeeeeeeeed morrrrrrrrrre poweeeeeerrrrrrrrrr!!! :D

Fixed the indicator switch on the Blackbird, which meant completely disassembling the switch to clean 16 years of shit out of it.

Also washed the car (3rd time in 2 years) and bodge-fixed my pressure washer.

Went for a quick blat to glasson dock on the thundercat. It reminded me how much I really need to set the suspension up properly! :o:o
