Bloody Musicians
« on: 19 January 2014, 01:28:35 am »
Never go to see a band with a musician - oh, the tunes are all a bit slow, the guitarist ought to turn it up a bit, can't hear the keyboard at all, if he only had this amp, or that guitar...how would you know, you never heard anything for whinging all foccin night  :rolleyes

They were pretty good actually - brilliant girl singer who put everything into it, the guitarist had a great feel for blues, and a half decent saxophonist to top it off. What I actually got to hear, I thoroughly enjoyed.

Know exactly what you mean mate, my wifes cousin has a band that does gigs all over the world and he's the same moaning about how bad someone else is :lol

And my nephew is identical whilst he is trying for stardom!

It's the same for me, watching a war film with some Squaddies or watching Casualty with a nurse. My Mrs hates watching MotoGP with me, when i shout 'Come on Marquez, i could do better than that'

Feel you there Nick, although being a Sound Engineer, I am the one in the group. Fortunately most of my friends are either musicians, sound engineers, producers or Dj's, so I get away with it  :D
