GIVI monokey/monolock Plate
« on: 16 December 2013, 11:13:02 pm »
Can anyone tell me if there is any difference in the Givi Monolock, Monokey mounting plate.
I have the Yamaha mounting fitting for the FZ6, the one that is assembled on the existing pillion grab handles. It comes with the mounting plate as part of the whole thing. I also have the top box , it says Yamaha on the box but it is made by GIVI am I right to assume it is the monokey box that I have.
I know likely I have answered my own question, But I am looking at getting brackets and plate for the FZ1 I have seen them on ebay and they ask the question which plate to supply.

One of the confusing things givi does is different mounting options- monolock boxes fit monolock racks, monokey boxes fit monokey racks and are none interchangeable!
