Is the gear shift return spring in the same place as gen1 on gen 2

I usually suffer from floppy shifting if the bolt (14) holding the shift arm(10) to the shift shaft (7) is even slightly loose. Might be worth checking first before you do a strip down.

Part No 1, I have always known them as a detent spring, normally easy to change.
