What parts from other yam's fit the 1000's i.e will a rear brake bracket from a R1 fit a gen 1 or will a foxeye 600 nose cone fit a gen 1, and so on


See if admin will pin this as well.

I found the fuel from my honda generator was a perfect fit in the FZS1000 tank....

Same amount of oil, same spark plugs, same brake pads, same manufacturer and i fit both models

Believe Exup Valve bits are much the same as the FZR1000(89 to 95) and possibly early (98/99) R1s too - in fact I need an EXUP END PLATE (the cast piece with six bolt holes that the spindle goes through, not the chrome cover) off a Gen 1 Fazer for my FZR1000RU - anyone got one please?

I put the same petrol in my tdm and gen1 and it worked fine

The brake discs from a XJR1300 fit a gen 1 thou as that is what is on mine.
