Oxford heated grips

My bike has a set on, when i switch them on they only go on the first heat setting, no matter how much you press the + button,no more progress,they still work and today in the very cold,with my winter gloves on they worked ok.
Is this common or are they on there way out?


 I am getting a spare set to keep on the shelf incase these pack up

Most common fault is the switch packing up. I have the early 2 button switch on mine, and still working fine at the moment. The old switches can be replaced with the new V8 switch - you discard the old switch AND control box to do this.
