Child car seats

For a five year old child is it the norm to use a child seat? and when do they move onto a booster to fit the belt setup?

Have to be in a booster type seat until 12.
Start from around 4 buts depends on weight.
Halfrauds have a good selection to try.

Yep, usually depends on age/weight/height, but at around 4 ish they move up to a booster seat. That said, the booster seats that also have a back and head rest as well although not a requirement, are generally safer as they offer extra side impact protection.
