Hi, am going to get myself some 758's but what bar ends do you use and are they much lower than standard? I do feel to upright on mine especially when accelerating hard or high speed
Has any one fitted fat bars? had some on my Tuono, think they look good, obviously would need different risers not sure if some off other bikes would fit?

Bar ends with renthal bars can be a bit tricky as the internal diameter is different to standard bars as they are made of Aluminium. However... Del Boys garage gave a fantastic idea of using some Rawlplugs and extended bolts to attach any bar ends you like :) I used this method for the bar ends on my 600 :)

Renthals have a 13mm dia 'bore', and you can pick up bar end weights off evilbay for peanuts.
As for comfort, well I'm 6'1" with abnormally long arms. They're a hell of a lot comfier than standard, a smidgen less height, a bit wider, and the comfirst bit of all, less sweep! One of the best compliments for the fazer imho.

How about cables when fitting 758's? Do they need changing or do standard cables all fit?

I have the GYTR raisers and Renthal 758s and really like the riding position, this setup does restrict the amount that the forks can be dropped through the yoke though (~12mm max). I paid a local shop £10 to tap out the Renthals to take the OEM bar ends and a local finisher £5 to repaint them, just as cheap as an aftermarket set but much more effective at reducing vibrations with the bonus of retaining the OEM look.

758's fitted with Oberon universal bar ends and GYTR risers, ignore the silly screen as I was just experimenting with different screens. Everything fits fine with no loss of steering lock.

With standard bar risers

Thanks for info guys, have ordered some today, quite like the idea of using oem bar ends so might try that, where is best place to get GYTR risers? I'd like to be a bit more forward after coming from sports bikes.

Tmation, I noticed your sat nav location, tried mine there and didn't like how exposed it was, even if it is waterproof, so made a bracket out out of some aluminium plate, its more in line of sight next to clocks, sorry for thread hijack
