Little help please, which part number for genuine Yam drive chain and sprocket kit for FZS 600 2002:

5RTW001A00
or
5DMW001A01

I think the foxeye 600 had a narrower chain (not sure why?)

Check the under seat code
If code starts with 5RT then buy the 5RT-W001A-00
If code starts with 5DM then buy the 5DM-W001A-01

I was under the impression that a lot of bike firms used D.I.D. chains as standard anyway.
Why not just get a D.I.D. Heavy Duty X Ring chain kit, it'll probably be better and about £50 cheaper?
It's not like they're not tried and tested, i personally wouldn't even bother trying anything else as there's no need to.
