anyone else un-happy with amazon delivery times,bought a drift camera and it took over a week to arrive and  they dont update their tracking info,ordered a new welding mask yesterday and got a email this morning.expected delivery 21/10/13...thought i would get that before the weekend  :\

Was it from Amazon or a third party seller?
Usually I've had very good service, arriving well before the stated dates although a couple of weeks ago it did take a bit longer.

Been pretty good for me. Even the item I ordered from China arrived within a week - but I do always check where it is coming from before I buy

the welding helmet is coming from a third party seller but this mornings email was from amazon...the camera was from amazon and delivered by city link.....see how long the mask takes,i have a job to do this weekend so hope its early .

her indoors is still waiting for a pair of boots she ordered over 5wks ago off amazon"...she was told that when she put her order in they was out of stock so had to re,order from manufacturer!! :rolleyes still took the fkn money though?

i've been working overseas for the last 6 months and gotta say that amazon delivery has been brilliant! ordered some stuff from UK and it arrived in afghanistan in a week! however the stuff that i ordered from germany 3rd Party seller)for delivery to UK never arrived after 2 attempts so had to get a refund!

Ordered some headlight bulbs on Friday for car, as a couple had blown, thought I'd splash out get some decent Philips ones, as they were about half the price of bog standard bulbs from Halfords. Paid top whack to get them delivered next day on Saturday. Never turned up. Arrived today. Not too chuffed really, as I had to drive around on Sunday with one headlight down.

This was from Amazon direct. TBH I'm usually a tight ass and opt for free postage and yeah it does take a week or so. But in this instance I paid quite a bit for postage, so I expected a quick delivery. :(

Most next day delivery options apply to business days so exclude Saturday and Sunday... maybe that was the problem?
