Step backwards, for sure. I don't think there'll be a way back, when I updated my tablet, it removed Tapatalk 2 and replaced with the latest version. Previously, both had been available, no longer it seems :-(

I think visually the new one is better, but the buttons etc don't seem to be as intuitively placed to me.

They've focced up the notifications - I use the forum on my laptop, as well as my phone and tablet (with tapatwat). I probably use the tablet the least, and with the latest version of tapatwat, when I do pick the tablet up, I get all the notifications of everything since I last used the tablet, even if I've already read them on phone or laptop.

Old version didn't work that way, notifications only came if there'd been anything since I was last on the forum. I guess it's a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, but a step backwards, why foc with things that aren't broken?
