Looking at the Member Map, there doesn't appear to be anyone that close to you :( Obviously not every puts their location up but it doesn't look promising...

harry . you should be alright doing it on your own  :lol  as long as you follow the guide on this site step by step .
im not good at electrics but took my time and followed it to the letter and its great !!
only took an hour from start to finish , BUT  make sure you have everything you need before you start
best mod for the fazer i recon -makes such a difference at night , also consider getting the osram nightbreaker bulbs as well
good luck

You do not need to be hot with electrics as all you require is one wire, three connectors a pliers a small wire cutter or stripper, roll of insulation tape and and a little bit of care and patience.  If you have an 12 volt test light it would be helpful, but you could make one up with a small 12 volt bulb and a few pieces of wire.
I did this years ago on my 2000 model 600, however I would be very familiar with electrics and I can understand you worry.
Lift the tank and prop it up, open the box with all the electrics in it. There should be a 6 way Blue connector with a Green and a Yellow wires in it. This comes from the dip switch and the green wire is what you need to connect to the spare connector in the right hand headlight connector.
Lift the tank and check it and post a reply with pictures if possible.

I did this a couple of hours ago. Following the guide on this thread

http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?topic=181.0

It is a very simple mod. After you've done it you'll be glad you didn't need someone else to help.

i bought an H4 connector block for £3.50 in halfords just to use the right-angled crimp terminal. Couldn't find them in sensibly priced packs.

So I have 2 spares if anyone needs one to do this mod
