powder coating is also a reasonably robust option for all the foothangers etc.
After almost 20 years with the same bike repeatedly (it seems ) painting the same parts I have come to the conclusion that it is not worth the effort and cost of the paint by the time I have degreased wire brushed on a bench grinder undercoated - top coated I may as well of sent it off to a powder coater for them to do all the work, shot blasting etc.
