Front Sprocket Nut & Lockwasher Part Nos

Recently ordered the 12mm nut & tab washer upgrade  kit from my local dealer.
The combined kit carries the Yamaha part no 90891-10124 & retails @ £2-44.
However the kit contained the 2 individually wrapped items and the respective part nos are:
12mm Nut   part no. 90179-18006
Tab washer    "   "     90215-21290
I only mention this because the modification kit & the 12mm nut are not on the normal microfiche pages but if you quote the part nos above they can be located & obtained.

Have you measured the nut?
I've just changed my c&s, went to local yam dealer for the new nut which as far as we could work out has been superceded again but by a 10mm nut!

Why would they go 10mm from 12mm, that's just daft?

I know, that's why I'm asking if he's measured it- I'd assume the 12mm is still available but I didn't have the correct part number at the time and the 10mm (measured myself) is the one on the computer system)

That code is for the 12mm one, i've seen it enough times on here.

Yes -can confirm part no 90179-18006 is the 12mm size-just measured to check!

Just discovered that I have both:

The Kit 90891-10124 with the 12mm Nut and washer in it and the Kit 90891-10124 with two separate packages in it.

The part numbers packaged in two separate packages within the package are:
90215-21290 Washer
90179-18006 12mm nut

See pics, both are 12mm and the only difference in the two is that the individually packaged nut in the package is shiny
