Seconded. Easy mod and about ten times better braking. Almost too good if you get carried away.

I've fitted a 1000 calliper so if the XJR1300 is the same then it's dead easy. You don't modify the calliper at all,
just file a bit off the bracket until the calliper bolts to it properly. It's obvious what to do when you have the bits in your hands.

240mm between centres nog

Cheers geezer! :thumbup

Hey fizzy i checked my torque arm...240mm so they're the same size which means i can use my bling one when i fit my thou caliper.

For some reason i thought the 600 & thou had different length arms but the thou one must have just looked longer because of its design.

What torque arm is that Fizzy? Looks good, much nicer than standard.

The fzs600 and thunerdace arms are both 240mm mate but I'm sure the fzs1000 torque arm is different mate

Ok geezer.......but the main thing is that you've managed to fit the thou caliper with a 240mm torque arm which is good, maybe if it is a different size then it just means that the caliper is slightly further round on the disc......or maybe the thou has a bigger disc so needs a longer arm to bridge the gap?????

As you said mate, it just means it's further around the disc, slightly further from anchor point on swing arm. Shouldn't make any difference what length it is, as long as there is enough slack in the brake line to reach it. A few cm shouldn't hurt. :)
