You are balancing the engine which is correct but the comment Graham picked up on was the fact you mentioend carbs when your bike doesnt have them
There is a common problem on the CBF1000 that I am sure would be resolved with a rebalance but the stoooopid foccers at Honda decided that their fuel injection system was intelligent enough to do it automatically and removed the ability to do it as a workshop job. People have tried and ended up buying £1000 worth of new parts to fix it again.
