fz6 s1 carb/vacum sync

Just had the carb/vacum sync done on sunday set it at 20 with four bar carbtune just had one that was four levels out and a couple with 2 bars reset ,now it seems to run a bit smoother not as much buzzing around 6-7 thou and i can see through my wing mirrors at 80mph, seems weird feels more powerful  :eek

Erm, that's a good trick because the FZ6 is fuel injected...! :pokefun

Yep but there is true 4 vacuum hoses underneath the tank which you connect too ,with the tank up you'll see a 2 inch sqaure metal box with numbers 1-4 on it adjustments are made there do not adjust no1 as that's the standard setting adjust all the others to match no 1 then hey Presto ya done ,make sure engine is warm and after each adjustment blip throttle upto 4k leave to settle then check and adjust where necessary :)

You are balancing the engine which is correct but the comment Graham picked up on was the fact you mentioend carbs when your bike doesnt have them :pokefun

There is a common problem on the CBF1000 that I am sure would be resolved with a rebalance but the stoooopid foccers at Honda decided that their fuel injection system was intelligent enough to do it automatically and removed the ability to do it as a workshop job. People have tried and ended up buying £1000 worth of new parts to fix it again.
