full fairing or not?

Not a fan of them. I don't think they blend in with the rest of the bike.

if I was or able to buy new the (03 the prettiest) model fazer now I'd pick this style rather than full..
still looks nice.

I considered this when I first got mine. Then I found a bellypan quite cheap on gumtree, got that and feel that it does enough cosmetically. It seems to add a balance with the engine and the rest of the bike that works well. It's also useful at keeping the crap off the pipes (as Davew said) so once I'd done that I dropped the idea of full fairings.

I think my conclusion was, if I wanted a full fairing bike I should have bought one. That said, I do like the way the silver boxeye looks, just wouldn't do it myself

I saw one on the show me your fazer post, lovely set up, just an extra wee fairing added to the top fairing, pity it was on a FoxEye but it did look good, I'm on my phone on here and don't know how to get the pic to this post but it was sort of reddish/purple colour, really nice looking :-)

go for it,gives you the choice of two bikes, one ugly as fek with full fering, or one really really ugly one with no fering  ,like others have said its personal choice, as for taking the lower fering of 10mins max, and if you worry about damage if you drop it ,dont buy a bike, also gives great protection from elements

go for it ,like some have said personal taste i love my ugly as ........ full fering  box eye, i can remove the fering in 10 mins max , hey presto a ugly as ...... no fering boxeye. funny in my ignorence i thought i had a fzs  im glad ther,s poeple on the site to give their knowledge and encouragement

Yes, we all have different views, which is a good thing :-)
I do like the look of your fairing but since I've looked at that screendumped pic I put here, I like that look if I could get it for our si called boxeye, or maybe get it for the fzs B-)
