Both the Givi plates (M3 or M5) will bolt on to either a wingrack or a monorack.

Wingrack - I had the wingrack 2 (i.e. the one that takes the side panniers also) on my blackbird with the Givi E360N Monokey top box and M3 plate fitted, I later got a Givi450 Simply top box with the M5 plate and it just bolted on to the top of the wingrack in the same holes as the M3 plate was fitted.

Mono rack - My fazer came with a monorack fitted with an M5 plate, so I removed this and fitted my M3 plate - 2 bolts and it was done, see photo of M3 fitted below.  :)

Hope this is of some help - Gar

Wanting to get shot of the massive indicators on my fazer. I would like flush mounted ones at the front and little stalks on the back.

Show me what you have.

I'd be interested in the stock indy's if you get sorted with replacements :)

BTW,  there's led's on mine if any interest, they were fitted to my bike when I bought it but TBH I prefer the stock units. There's also an LED flasher unit fitted.

Its not pulling off. Its not twisting off. I have stainless headers on so I'm thinking they may be some very old exhaust sealant keeping it stuck fast.
I've tried tapping it off also but I don't want to damage the thing if its going to someone else.

Yeah - don't wreck that now you hear!

The viper came off mine no bother. There was a gasket on the link pipe where it joins the header so will leave that in if you can do the same for your one.

Standard end can has an approximate inner diameter of 50mm, but mine has an inner sleeve that makes it approximately 47mm.
Hope that helps.  8)

Cheers mate - I just measured the O/D of my 4-1 pipe and as best as I can see it's about 45mm or so - I reckon its close enough to match up.

If its the same as standard can we strike up a swap deal for my standard?

Cheers

Sure why not - sounds like a good option for us both  :)

That would be great - appreciate it.

I think I will take off the viper can and link pipe and measure the outside diameter of the 4-1 pipe too.

Cheers :)

Folks my year 2000 boxeye came fitted with a lovely stainless 4-1 system and has a viper can with link pipe fitted too.

I am finding the viper can too loud for me (even with the baffle in) and would prefer a stock can for the quiet life

My question is will a standard can fit on the 4-1 pipe? and if yes, does anyone have a standard can for sale?

I have no idea what make the 4-1 system is.

Any help or suggestion appreciated.

Thanks Gary

Unfazed, I might be interested in the double bubble screen - I am from Drogheda, but might be able to arrange a mate to pick up the screen in Cork some stage. Would that be okay? Thanks!

Drogheda - I am only down the road from you here in Mornington sir!

Very smart,i also think the weight is pretty good as i came off a Bird too so i guess its what you are comparing to  :)  I do like the black though, looks very clean  :D

Cheers sir, yes your right plus the riding position is so much more comfortable.

I got this at the right money and took it as a part exchange for the bird.

Going to use for my daily commute as the bird was working out too expensive on fuel.

Well I picked up the bike and made it home safe :)

Turns out the drive home was over 130 kilometres and not the 95 I had estimated.

As promised a couple of photo's of it.

Pretty good nick overall and some practical mods fitted but a few jobs to do nevertheless. One thing I noticed was it wasn't running cleanly at bigger throttle openings. it has a race can fitted (jeez it's loud) and there's a K&N sticker on the swing arm, so I'am guessing it has a filter fitted but possibly hasn't been jetted correctly or at all. I' am gonna have a butchers at it during the week and suss it out.

Very nice bike to ride and very light compared to my old blackbird, some revs though  :eek

No test for bikes in Southern Ireland yet, but me thinks it won't be long with those flipping Eurocrats

Looks great, I always fit the DID gold chains to all my bikes - any excuse for a bit of extra bling as well as a good chain!

Get some pics posted once you get it, we all like a few pics. Go for ride first though..

Cheers - Will post some pics up when I get her home.

It will be a 95k ride back, so plenty of time to get used to the feel of the bike too!
