Now I don't want to get all paranoid about this but there seems to be a sudden lack of interest in the Lofo camp or is there an underground scene started up banishing breakfast eating ;)
Perhaps we are heading to the addition of a W

So come on, Bank holiday weekend = Sunday and Monday rides for some luckies :)

-
Yep....time to wake up LOFO's........so whos up for a ride out on sunday, hampshire was mentioned, how about sammy miller museum which I think is new forest way ish...or just head for the south downs and have a bimble through the national park .not much further to the coast and some ice cream :D

Was thinking blackheath cafe.....sammy miller is new milton in the new forest east from bournemouth, could parhaps stop at box hill for tea n fags and straight accross south downs over southampton and into new forest.....two national parks in the same day......any southerners want to join in ?

Have the Lofo's got anything planned for Sunday 15th of June? That's my next weekend off, might be a great chance for the Loomies run.

Start nights on 1st June (actual Lofo day(I see a pattern forming)) so can do ride then too
-

Does Diy'ing rhyme with wanking then? :evil

Yay, starting to shape up. Where are our two resident hooligans? And yes need a time for Blackheath.

Let's get a time for Blackheath Neil and then we'll know what time to meet at Nells
-
a few more on board....thats good :D .....ill check opening times at sammys place and post a meet time at blackheath......anyone else ?
-
Doubt I'll be able to make this one. Leaving the screaming brats with other half two weekends in a row doesn't seem to be going down too well... :-\
-
Ps this will probabley be my last lofo outing for a while as i plan to have moved to the wilds of suffolk. Hope to have moved by the end of may.
Give me a time for the heath and i'll be there. Don't care we we end up as long as we ride there. I'll follow whoever is road captain and terrorise from the back. :lol

Hope you enjoy a great ride, hopefully join you next time! :\

Red, You're obviously clucking for it. How about 9:00 at Blackheath for breakfast leaving at 9:30 sharp. Leaves enough time to scoff dead animal burger and coffee? (Any earlier and my time zone is still on the night before.)
Leaves plenty of time to get to Box Hil (1:00 - 1:15 hrs riding at my pace) to meet whoever. Depart Box Hill 10:30 sharp. What say yea?
-
yeh,ok kosmic......keen to get out as i missed fizzys ride out last month :\ ....9.00am at blackheath it is then :) .....10.15-10.30 at box hill if anyone wants to meet there, carpark at the bottom of the hill.......
-
Think I will be a no go for the next few months as I'm away this weekend... in fact, I'm busy every weekend this month
Then away again at the start of June... and the start of July...
Life got hectic pretty damn fast!
-
Midden, fancy meeting me at Nell's for a civilised breakfast at 08.00 before meeting up with the others at Blackheath ?
-
OMG, I've just got a pass!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
-
Nice one Harry, Bobbing McDonalds car park at 07.30 ?
-
I might go straight to Blackheath and have a rat burger there rather than have a posh breakfast at Nells.
-
I suppose I could always have a cuppa, Midden can have my breakfast! :b
7.30 at the golden arches :-)

:groan
So I've had to go get a new one. Should have read the warning signs last time I fired up. The battery did sound a bit lazy. Ho Hum.

Hi guys. I decided last minute to surprise you by riding from the West country and meet you at Sammy Millers. I got there at 11am, had some scoff and a walk round the museum (£5 today). I'm guessing you got lost or or changed your destination. My fault for not checking in. I left there at 2pm. Sorry I missed you guys... :rolleyes
-
Good to see you regular LoFo's today, and some new ones.
Ivan and my self bailed out at Boxhill as we had other plans so I'm not sure where the others ended up. Probably got lost as I retired from my role as road captain at Boxhill.
Nice to see so many Foccers in my mirrors... Then again the pace was pretty gentle. :lol
I found out why Reds' bike wasn't that quick today. Must have been the wadding coming out of his end can.

Got home about 20 minutes ago, total of over 320 miles.
Cracking day out, thanks to everyone
-
Back home at 8.30 , 270 miles for me.....a speedy repair of a coolant hose other than that the boxeye ran like a dream :)....sorry fazer 390, we ran out of time due to too many cafe stops.did'nt want to rush sammy millers so went to portsmouth instead.good day and a history lesson at the navy ba se..
-
I was starting to get worried re now news about today's runners and riders.
-
Three coffee stops before midday did'nt help :rolleyes.....found a good route accross the south downs A272 from east to west.rode the first half on the way down and the other half with just nick and myself on the way home, second half was best :D
re....."bananagate scandal"........a full scale inquiriy will start shortly............
-
Home safe about half hour ago. Good day out, good to see everyone etc etc.
Think we had more stops than miles covered - we could've done Sammy Miller's, and the tank museum, and Portsmouth historic shipyard, and probably a quick blat to Wales and back, with just a couple less stops :rolleyes
Notable events of the day: Bananagate :lol
Stuttering red98 throws a tantrum and chucks coolant everywhere. :rolleyes
Red98 chats up more of the blue rinse brigade :eek
Exupnut sinks to riding a H***a - being white, it might actually be quicker than his Fazer ;)
Poor old HarryHornby gets his bike pulled to pieces by red98 (but Harry's wasn't the one pissing coolant, eh Paul? :lol )
A272 from Petersfield to Winchester was excellent - best part of the route today, helped by the fact that by the time Paul and I did it, the roads were a bit quieter.
Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth made up a bit for missing Sammy Miller's, so not a dead loss in that regard.
All in all, a very good day :)
-
Not pulling his bike to pieces nick..just giving him a few jobs to do before the next ride out........I think theres a good bike in there somewhere just needs a bit of "fazer fettling"..........shame about harrys nuts :eek8h
-
Its a funny old world...after ever ride out I log onto foc-u and mention iam home and post a few piccies, and then I watch to make sure everyone else is home safe.....just a bunch of guys ive met via the interweb that I dont really know....but I do start to worry if someone dos'nt reply......just goes to show , hard red exterior,, soft and yellow on the inside.....must be my age :rolleyes
-
THANK YOU..... BRIAN H ;)
-
Got home about an hour ago, peeled off from Harry on the pretext of going home but instead zipped down the fox and goose for the picture challenge but got beaten to it :\ (I think I'm obsessed). Top day out as usual Foccers, sorry we missed you Fazer390 and I'm sorry I got the blame for banana gate :lol . Thanks to red ceri for showing me the difference in performance between full monty and slip on :D (And we don't want to hear any of your racing driver excuses ) :lol And despite our best efforts we couldn't seem to lose Midden. :b

:\ Looks like you all enjoyed a fantastic day, as ever! Mine was F too, but more like frustrating and the other word!!!
Went to J&S at Maidstone to help with Guy Martin Big Brew to find I was the only helper, no-one to put up the gazebo I had delivered the day before with tables and chairs, so just spent a while chatting to people, as it was fairly busy until mid day, then went very quiet as everyone off enjoying themselves on their bikes :(
Went home the fun way, only it wasn't as came across a RTA with a biker on the deck and an Ambulance waiting to take him off to hospital along with numerous Plod directing traffic etc. As I was at the lights near the Oakdene, ambulance came past me with blues and two's going, which depressed me even more.
Only consolation was that I was on the bike which was serviced on Friday and going like the clappers.Consoled myself with the thought I will be at Brands Hatch tomorrow for Kent Fire Bike Ride Skills day, so will have some track time for free.Looking forward to the June one when you guys will be there, which will liven it up even more! lolGlad you all enjoyed such a brilliant day, I would happily have settled for Dockyard in place of Sammy Miller, it looked fabulous........another F word!

So, I was out the house for almost 14 hours, I reckon about 4 of that was actual riding!!! :b 282 miles for me, the longest ride I've ever done.
Great day out, thanks to Red I've got to get some work done to the bike, anyone any good at removing 2 busted exhaust nuts (didn't check them when I bought the bike :'( )
Some great roads and great company, nice to put more names to faces.
Highlights for me, Bananagate, the MV Augusta F4 (wow that was bloody gorgeous!), Red chatting up the blue rinse brigade, probably ruining some Bride's day by escorting her horse and trap ride to her reception with 6 noisy bikes and the young girl on the push bike passing us all parked up at Southsea saying "fazer, fazer, fazer, fazer, fazer, fazer.....it's a fazer day out" :D

To be honest Red, I'm not the greatest with a spanner and I don't have the time/knowledge or skill to do it myself. It will got into a garage to get those studs out.

Big mullet in dockyard they swarm around the ships. People pay to fish in the dockyard! I might be able to give a few foccers a tour of the upper deck.
