Faulty starter??
«

Hi first post, I own a 02 fzs600. Had her for close to 5 years now. Anyway went to go to work this morning and all I got was click click click.... Ok flat battery.. No. Lights strong, no dip when starter button pressed. So I rocked her in gear and then pressed start button And she turned over and started. Tried this several times and same result. Took starter motor off and gave it squirt of lube etc and replaced, same click click until I out put in gear and rock. In hindsight I should have checked starter was turning before replacing. Anyway has anyone any ideas, suggestions?

I've never had any starting issues with mine but it does Sound like the starters on its way out, always worth checking everything else in the circuit, such as relay, main power & earth cables, switches, etc.
let us know what you find.
Mark.

Bet not at that price. Anyway had starter of again and all looks good. Can't replicate the click click click. Maybe the gt50 spring clean did it job. Started a dozen times no problem. Looks like A bit of shit caused the problem. If it does it again I will get a replacement of flee bay. Still strange that if I rock in gear it frees it off... Cheers
