Blonde joke

A blonde joke with some Canadian content....
As a North Bay trucker stops for a red light on Hwy.11, a
blonde catches up.. She jumps out of her car, runs up to his
truck, and knocks on the door. The trucker lowers the
window, and she says, "Hi, my name is Heather, and you
are losing some of your load!"

The trucker ignores her and proceeds down the street.
when the truck stops for another red light, the girl
catches up again. She jumps out of her car runs up and
knocks on the door. Again, the trucker lowers the window.

As if they've never spoken, the blonde says brightly,
"Hi, my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!"

Shaking his head, the trucker ignores her again and
continues down the street. At the third red light, the same
thing happens again.

All out of breath, the blonde gets out of her car, runs up,
knocks on the truck door.  The trucker lowers the window.. Again she says, "Hi, my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!"

When the light turns green the trucker revs up and races to
the next light. When he stops this time, he hurriedly gets
out of the truck, and runs back to the blonde. He knocks on
her window, and as she lowers it, he says,..............

"Hi, my name is Kevin, it's winter in CANADA , and I'm driving the salt truck.

Reminds me of driving around the M25 last winter and came across about 20 cars sitting behind a gritter in lane 2, doing about 25 mph??????
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!

Better than them overtaking it. then shitting themselves and slowing to 10 mph and fucking up the gritters spread rate.

You're better off in front of it, the salt that has just gone down will have done absolutely nothing to help any ice/snow that is around - and when you're driving on the fresh salt, your braking distances are reduced as you're effectively on ball bearings till a couple of wheels have smashed the granules down.

A few years back, a mate of mine was following a landrover following a gritter - early evening, still fairly warm, no ice around. Landy slowed for a turn, but her wheels locked straight up and she slid into the landy. Coppers said its fairly common immediately after gritting.

true grit has to be crushed in to work effectively

But I've been in Gritters when they been overtaken, and as I said the car then slows to a speed that is lower than is necessary for the gritters spread gear to effectively spread the grid.
Also had to pull cars out of snow after they have ignored warning signs and blindly followed ploughs up roads.

If I see a gritter I take care, that stuffs expensive and they don't throw it down for the fun of it

doesn't change anything I said though, does it. If somebody overtakes then slows down and gets in the way, that makes them a foccin idiot, and maybe they would be better off behind - way behind, so far behind they hadn't left their driveway in fact.

worse bit's when you go to pass them on the motorway, is it better to go slower, get hit by more grit, but getting hit softly? or faster, hit by less grit, but getting hit harder?

I went for faster - about 70, stone chips all over the bonnet :\
still, there was no ice on my windscreen the next morning...
