Adjustable levers?
« on: 01 March 2012, 12:42:02 pm »
Does anyone have any links of where I can get some black/gold adjustable short levers, both clutch and brake for a 1999 FZS600, I've looked everywhere and I just cant seem to find them.

Also does anyone know if the older model of the ZX7r's levers are interchangable with the FZS600 ones? I read this somewhere but I'm not sure.

This is also my first post, so it's nice to meet you all, would you like to meet my bike? Alright then  :evil

Thanks in advance for anyone that can help.

That's a really smart Fazer... much too pretty to take out on the roads in winter. :lol

As for the levers, it might be easier to get the style you want in plain alloy and then get them gold anodised.

Just out of curiosity and don't mean to offend but how much did you spend on that bike!

ebay

They don't fit my bike, only the newer FZ6 or the old YZF's, one way to get around it is to buy a YZF R6 clutch mount as apperntly the brake lever matches up.

@BT I love the sound, I personally would reccomend SP to anyone  :D

@JZS Alot of money, to say the least  :rolleyes

A little bit more information, the following clutch levers are straight swaps onto the FZS600

FZS600 Fazer 98-01

FZS600 Fazer 02-03

FZS600 S Fazer SP 00-01

XJ600 S Diversion 91-03

XJ600 N Unfaired 95-03

TDM850 91-01

TDM900 02-03

TDM900 04-05

XJ900 S Diversion 95-03

Still trying to sort something out.

One way to get around is is buy a early R6 clutch bracket and swap it out for the FZS600, the clutch switch is a direct swap onto the R6 bracket too, tempting, but is it worth it?

I did find the titax levers, but the price put me off, its 120-130 for the set, when almost any other model you can get the set for 30ish quid.

As far as I'm aware they are the only manufacturers that makes them specifically for the FZS600.

Day light robbery if you ask me!

I do really apperitiate the help though :D
