If they finally do a nice faired version and I think a loan might be in order...
The fzs is probably one of the best all weather, do it all bikes I've ridden, shame mine is going soon :-\The mt09 might be a bit of a handful in bad weather such as sub zero due to the huge bottom end torque, so maybe not an ideal commuter.

Doesn't look too bad at first glance either.
Only a 14 litre fuel tank . What's that all about?Otherwise I like it.
"recreational" use is all I do, one of the reasons I have kept my 600 for 12 years is that nothing has seemed to tick the same boxes my 600 does better enough to change (for my use). I thought about the fazer8 - but not quite enough. Thought about the fazer thou but not bothered about two up or touring or straightline speed and a bit heavy for little me. So far everything I have heard about the MT is pricking my ears up and im getting bigger ticks in my boxes.Could this be the bike to prise my 600 out from under my legs
You'll be amazed how much the mt09, and the fz1 are like chalk and Cheese locksmith. The mt is a high powered supermoto/street bike, and the fz feels like a tourer when you get back on it. The mt engine is tuned for low down torque, whereas the fz is a screaming thrash machine. It's worth the experience though, it'll certainly make you giggle.
