And I have put my own Arai RX7 full face helmet inside the rucksack I have here, and closed the zip to secure it. Just trying to help you out, that's all. My intent was not to be adversarial, just responding to what info is front of me etc. Ill drop you a PM.

I ended up buying a 5.11 Tach-24, but I am still inside the return period. So out of interest, whats the exact make of the knox backpack..?

I'll take some rough measurements from my side in the meantime. Right here you go, as roughly center of each bolt as I could manage -

Hi. are these all gen 2 parts ?.. looking for gen 1 dog bones. Gen1, also there are no 'dog bones' on the Gen2, but rather 2x triangular shaped plates.

That sounds like a plan. I will get to the garage and measure it and let you know as soon as possible thanks

Ebay would seem the logical place to start, failing that partfinder.co.uk

Some pics of the engine when it was open, and you can see the damage on the old gear where the dogs jumped out and grinded the gear. And even wallered out the holes, thats some wear...

The above items have been sitting, boxed up in my sitting room for over a year, so at this point I just need them parts gone - so any reasonable offers welcome.

Carrying the helmet in the backpack is for when Im OFF the bike, I recently got refused entry to a building for just trying to walk in while carrying it.

So this was the only place I could fit the pre-load adjuster and even then it was a tight fight. routing the hydroic hose from the shock to the adjuster was also a pain, I had to route it under the ABS unit, between the unit and the protective plastic splash cover.
Can I ask if anyone else has fitted an ohlins to their FZ1 and do they have photos..?

Before I get on the phone to Infinitiy, Sportsbikeshop etc, I thought I would check on here and see if anyone suggest a backpack that you can fit a helmet inside..? Im guessing 30L or bigger. Budget is £100 and it would be handy if it has zippable side pockets.
My old Hien Gericke backpack was a 31L and I could just about fit a helmet inside.
