As above. New front mudguards are no longer available unless you can find someone with old stock on EBay, but unlikely. I just got mine repainted as it had a few scuffs and stone chips.

  I thought that I would end up in that situation, what was the cost of the paint job on the mudguard? If you don’t mind me asking. ?

Well, therein lies a story.....I initially had a front mudguard, rear fairing/seat section and grab handles painted (Silver Tec) by a local bodyshop for £300 but the results were not up to the standard I wanted. I got him to repaint them a second time but the result was no better. I then decided to look for a specialist motorcycle painter in the hope/expectation that someone used to working with bikes was more likely to produce a better job rather than someone who paints cars all day. I contacted 3 or 4 specialist motorcycle painters but only 0ne actually replied to my request for a quote - Paint Supremacy in Lincs. By this time I had managed to source a new old stock rear fairing/seat section in the right colour so only needed the mudguard and grab handles painting at a cost of £250. This time the results were spot on and the finish was OEM or better. An expensive lesson but I would always go with an experienced motorcycle painter in future rather than a general bodyshop.
