Coolant leaking

Hi all,

I have a collant leak in my 1998 Fazer 600.  I have a short video clip of it but I cannot get it to upload.  I have uploaded a photo of same from where i can see a drip.  The head gasket was recently changed and it does not appear to be that - it looks slightly higher up above the gasket line and it is leaking from the same spot on both sides.  Leaks much more when the engine is running.

Could it be the water jacket o rings?

Can anyone help me here?

Coolant leaks can be easily spotted by using a torch, but unfortunately in the dark, so either late at night or in a garage otherwise the lights off.
Coolant is sticky so turns shiny when a torch is aimed at it.

When was the coolant last changed though, and more importantly have you ever cleaned the coolant system before using Radflush?

Also, when the bike cools down have you checked the coolant expansion tank located to the right side of the rear shock under the seat, to see if there's any fluid in it?
When the system is all good the coolant level should pretty much stay at the same level visually.

If the system is blocked up the coolant won't flow properly and start getting very hot plus won't have the room it needs to function so will end up in the expansion tank until it overflows then will just get dumped on the floor via the overflow tube.
Once cooled down the coolant that's left in the system won't settle where it should and the tank will look empty which is a bad sign, as it'll eventually cause the engine to overheat.

I would suggest not riding the bike in this weather until you get this fixed otherwise you will have much bigger problems.

Get some Radflush and some decent coolant, an give the system a proper clean, and obviously see if you can spot the leak higher up, as it might be easy to spot.

I know it sounds daft, but still gotta rule things out. Is the radiator cap closed properly, or any tubes attached to the thermostat housing fitted securely? The torch might answer the latter for you!
