Radiator Fan
#1
Hi All, my radiator fan isn't working.  I've checked and changed the fuse, it's not that.  The fan moves freely, so it's not that.  I've brought the bike up to 100 degrees and the fan doesn't even twitch.

Any tips on how to get the fan out?  It looks like I can unscrew it without taking the rad out, but the cable disappears up into a big loom, under normal circumstances, how easy is it to unplug the fan?

Before I take it to the garage, I thought I would try and get it off and at least see if it works by powering direct from the battery with a couple of spare wires.

Cheers

Lift the tank and you can follow the wires back up to where it plugs into the loom. Look for loose wires or corrosion on the connector pins.

The fan is controlled by a relay that's triggered by the ECU, so you might want to get a multimeter and check for continuity there, too.
