Fzs Gen1. Clutch cable retaining clamp.

Photo
Can anyone decipher from the parts drawing, or know, the part number for the plastic clip that plugs into the underside of the left side of the frame retaining the cable, before the cable goes into the steel hook then heads right to the clutch. Tried to post a picture of a close up side of the bike but I’m afraid I must stop trying before my phone is smashed! Love bikes hate computers, phones, all tech shit!

What bike would help FZS or FZ1?

Sorry if it wasn’t clear, I have added Fzs, but it already said Gen1. As far as I know there is only a Gen 1 Fzs no Gen 1 Fz1. U.K. model ? I am aware of the U.S. Fzs called an Fz1 debacle. ?

Sorry I miss it in the title, couldn't see the wood for the trees lol.

Often these parts are part of a bigger part and aren't available separately. Can you take a picture of the clip and exactly where it's attached?

No problem at all mate! ? Thanks for replying, I will try and photograph it soon when I dig the bike out of the garage. The parts drawing is a bugger to see clear on a phone, it has more lines on it than the London underground!

hmm All the parts on that are fixed to the bike and that arent part of the cable are metal, so are you sure the clip your refering to isnt part of the cable..?

Will wait for the photo though.

This is a simple retention clip, you will find a bunch of these on the bike. Its not clutch/cable specific.

Yep, that's what was throwing me, these are just wiring harness clips.

They do come in various sizes. I have come across a few or them in Japanese cars also.
This are only two of this size on the FZS1000 the other is by the battery positive lead
