Yesterday I installed, filled, and tested a chain lubrication system. Bought it from Uncle Alie and received it via the Silk Road.  Big Grin

It’s essentially like a syringe - turning the top compresses the reservoir and squirts some oil out.

I think that turning the cap clockwise relieves the slight vacuum, thereby releasing a few drops. After a few drops, some vacuum is created again. With a syringe, you actually build up pressure.

If I fill the jar and don't screw the lid on immediately, the oil is already slowly leaking out at the sprocket.
But yeah, it's actually a simple system...
