Help needed - new forum needs testing
#1
Morning all - As you are probably aware the software this site currently uses is old and not great. Over the last few weeks we have been testing some new forum software. Now it is time for some of you lucky lot to help us with the testing. You dont need a lot of time, just a few minutes here and there over the next couple of weeks to go to the new site and have a play to see if you can use it as expected, see if there are any issues and see if there any improvements you would like to see.

If you can help, put a message on this thread and we will PM you with more details like the web address etc.

First observation - the emojis work from the interface but using IOS default seems to display incorrectly.

Happy to record feedback elsewhere if more appropriate.

Keep it coming here or via a PM.

I dont have access to IOS so cant test that - Can anyone else have a look too to see if it is unique to Trebus please?

I know the downloads are work in progress but unable to add new. Needs a category and there are none available in the drop down.

I almost always use a PC and the font on the list of threads posted in each category seem harder to read
Its the poster and the time that seem small and the grey of the time also on a grey background

Yes that is better but I still have to make my screen 120% before it looks like the old one.
Its the second like of text for the poster and date is very small and vine, much better now its black. It maybe that tweaking it too much will be too big for mobiles though

I am still having a play to see where we can increase the font size but it is complicated.

In the existing forum I always change to the mobile theme which works well. Is there an option to do that in the new software?
