FZS 600 2001 11500 miles £2450
Bought June 2025 and done 1200 dry miles on it. Balanced the carbs and put a 16 tooth gearbox sprocket on but otherwise left it alone. There are a couple of small scratches to the tank and a scuff on the LH mirror and that's about it. The fairing is unmolested and free from the cracks and splits so often found if the bike has been dropped sometime. Headlight mod carried out, both sides illuminate for dip and beam. No idea how good it is, haven't been out in the dark. Original exhaust, sound and free from blows. Tyres, pads, chain and sprockets about half worn. Givi rack, rear hugger and belly pan. MOT April 16th 2027. Two keys. Mileage 11500 as listed, I may add a few more if I fancy taking it out again.
The guy I bought it off only had it 3 months, he had nagged a workmate into parting with it because it was in such great condition but then decided it wasn't what he really wanted. I believe the workmate guy had put a lot of effort into maintaining and presenting it e.g. to the level of getting the fork sliders blacked which I don't think is standard. No paperwork or history however, only what the previous owner told me.
Fresh pack of engine oil and a filter cartridge thrown in so you can satisfy yourself that the oil has been changed at a date and mileage of your choosing. I jusn't haven't got round to doing it and haven't worried about it because I am pretty sure it has been changed within the last few thousand miles anyway but have nothing to prove it. And the original 15T gearbox sprocket if you want to change back.
This is the second bike I bought since returning to biking to see how it compared with the Norton I already have and my last big Japanese bike which was an XJ900 back in the 80s. Its an absolutley brilliant machine, everything they are touted to be and has the best performance, brakes and handling of the three by some distance. However, it jusn't move me and with another Norton coming, I need space in the garage so here it is for someone else to love.

£2450ono Price reflects miles and condition, not many left as good as this. No test rides without proof of insurance and the asking price in my hand.
