The Great Mirror Debate - Ned Jough - 13-06-25 Ok, I have read lots of old threads regarding mirrors. I have a perfectly good set of original mirrors on my 1998 boxeye without a scratch on them. Problem is it’s driving me nuts just seeing my right elbow. Oddly, the near side is not an issue. Is the general consensus it’s well worth fitting the later Foxeye or Fazer 1000 mirrors.? It seems the jury may still be out but I’m happy to source and pay for used OEM mirrors if it’s going to make a substantial improvement. Don’t want to waste £50.00 if it makes little difference. Thanks. RE: The Great Mirror Debate - fazersharp - 14-06-25 Nah just get your self used to doing the funky chicken. I got some after market ones that spec seemed to indicate the stem was longer but the problem is the mirror was smaller resulting in a worse view than the OEM |
