***SOLD*** BMW S1000RR Shock - kebab19 - 10-02-25

SOLD

My adapted BMW shock now for sale.  Decent condition apart from the spring preload ring, which is chewed up quite a bit.
  • Gen 1 bronze coloured 2010-2012 version of the shock, about 313mm from centre of top mounting hole to centre of bottom mounting hole.
  • Two sets of dogbones included (as I couldn't remember the correct length ones for this shock and no longer have a Fazer to check).  One set is 150mm from hole centre-to-centre, the other is 155mm.
  • Rebuilt by PLR suspension (Irish Road Racing experts) and has done around 800 miles since then, should be good for another 15k+.
  • Black Yamaha R6 spring fitted, rate is 525lbs-inch. The standard BMW spring (red) also included, but from memory it's 475lbs so not really up to carrying anything other than a very light rider.
  • Top shock mounting point uses top-hat spacers & a 10mm bolt, so it has not been drilled out to 12mm as per standard setup.
  • Bottom mount uses a 10mm bolt and a spacer for the inside of the lower suspension knuckle's spacer (reducing it down from 12mm to 10mm). If you want it to be 100% perfect, the lower mounting point would need to be drilled out to 12mm as per the Fazer's lower bolt setup. Personally, I ran with the spacer / 10mm bolt setup & had no issues.
