What's it worth? - t140 - 20-01-25 Hi looking for the value of an 07 plate FZ6 SA, it belonged to my brothers partners father who died about a year and a half ago and they are just getting round to emptying his lock up, the mot has expired and it has done approximately 36000 miles I haven't seen it in person just the photos he sent me the battery is flat but it was running when it was last parked up. I will get it running and then I will be selling it on their behalf. RE: What's it worth? - Grahamm - 20-01-25 The low mileage for an FZ6 of that age would normally be a good thing, but the ding on the side of the tank and the scraping on the frame where the crash bung is will probably offset that, because any sensible buyer would be wondering if whatever caused them resulted in other issues. Best thing to do is to look on Autotrader or similar and compare the prices on that. RE: What's it worth? - Kitrides - 21-01-25 I have an 05 of the same make and colour which I bought for 2,000 euro (about 1700 British pounds at time of writing) and it had 80 thousand km on the clock. As mentioned above the ding on the fuel tank does decrease the value by quite a bit. However it is still low mileage and if you’re transparent with the buyer you could easily get between 3000€/2500£ to 3500€/2950£ RE: What's it worth? - PieEater - 21-01-25 Various signs it's been dropped on the right hand side at potentially low speed but enough to do damage to forks / headstock / frame, personally I'd put it on eBay sold as is and wouldn't spend any money on it. |
