pilot jets - fatboy - 06-07-23 hi guys best way to clean them and how small is the hole that goes through them, bit of wire brush be small enough cheers Re: pilot jets - ben - 07-07-23 I recently did this with mine. I used carb cleaner, a compressor to blow air through the jet, and a bit of wire from a brass wire brush. The jets are made from brass, so any stronger metals (e.g. steel) might damage the them. Re: pilot jets - fatboy - 07-07-23 thank for the response have tried all that, soaked in carb cleaner over nite.must be really badly blocked can you see daylight through yours when clean think i might have to renew mine.been in there 20 years regards Re: pilot jets - ben - 07-07-23 Unless they're visibly damaged, or corroded you should be fine. You can just about see daylight through them when they're clear. A bit of brass wire should do the trick.
