Fuel Gauge Issues - old son - 09-01-22 I have recently refitted my fuel tank. I have a TFT dash and it was showing 2 bars when I removed and when I refitted. I've just filled up and the gauge is still showing the same reading. I've tried shorting out the plug from the loom but the gauge shows the same. Maybe I didn't leave is long enough? Am I right in thinking that by shoring out the plug in the loom under the left cover the gauge should be showing full? Is there a separate fuse for the fuel gauge? Are there any connections or joins between the plug under the left hand cover and the plug that connects the TFT? Thanks Re: Fuel Gauge Issues - old son - 24-01-22 OK, I've checked the gauge and that appears to be working satisfactorily. I'll check the sender when I've used a bit more fuel. Re: Fuel Gauge Issues - FazThou - 24-01-22 Give it a good shake, the float may be stuck from when you removed it Re: Fuel Gauge Issues - old son - 26-01-22 Thanks FazThou, I've just lifted the tank again and the plug had been pulled out of the sender unit. Pushed back in and all now working again. Re: Fuel Gauge Issues - FazThou - 28-01-22 Glad you got it sorted ![]() Re: Fuel Gauge Issues - beuleux - 29-01-22 (26-01-22, 12:46 PM)old son link Wrote: Thanks FazThou, I've just lifted the tank again and the plug had been pulled out of the sender unit.
