Fan relay - Andy W - 24-10-21

Hmm…finally dusting off the FZS & the fan relay has expired! ??
I’ve wired around if for now just to get back on the road but if anyone has a surplus one for sale, please get in touch! ??

Re: Fan relay - FazThou - 24-10-21

Have you got a pic of it with the part number on ?
Might have one on a spare loom, just not sure what year and if they are different

Re: Fan relay - Andy W - 25-10-21

Hi, hard to read the numbers but I think they were all the same relay, mine's a 2004, thanks!

Re: Fan relay - unfazed - 25-10-21

The pin numbers are the same on many relays as they are standardised., However the relay you require will have to have an internal diode is it is controlled by the electronics in the clocks.

The relay is the same as the Headlight relay with the 4 pins. They might have a diode symbol on them.

Using one without the diode could damage the clocks

Exactly! It’s the diode that’s “blown” in my relay!
