Clutch cover removal/Oil loss - robbo - 06-01-21 Would someone have an idea of how much oil would be lost if I remove the clutch cover with the bike on the sidestand. Thanks in advance. Re: Clutch cover removal/Oil loss - Gnasher - 06-01-21 To some extent that depends on how much is in the bike to start with i.e. half or full window etc. Usually isn't not a great deal, never measured it but 100, 200ml maybe. Re: Clutch cover removal/Oil loss - robbo - 06-01-21 Thanks Gnasher, that’s great. It is up towards the top of the window, but 200ish ml is not a problem. Thanks again :thumbup Re: Clutch cover removal/Oil loss - CatalinU - 08-01-21 When i Removed mine and left it on the side stand for a while, I didn't loose any, if that's any help Re: Clutch cover removal/Oil loss - robbo - 08-01-21 (08-01-21, 04:53 PM)CatalinU link Wrote: When i Removed mine and left it on the side stand for a while, I didn't loose any, if that's any helpThanks for that info. I want to get the clutch cover powder coated, but aren’t ready to do an oil change yet. Even if I lose a small amount, that won’t be a problem. :thumbup |
