Exo2 heated vest connector - Dynspud - 04-04-20

Hi Foccers
I have just inherited a really great Triumph branded Exo2 heated vest (cheers Paul/Ogri48) and am trying to wire a suitable connector to the mighty thou.
What I need to know is, is the female connector, in the left hand pocket of the vest, centre positive or centre negative?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers & regards,
Dave.

Looking at the connector in the vest pocket again, I think it's a male one, but I guess that doesn't really matter.
Just need to know if centre positive or centre negative.
Cheers all.

Can't you get the ExO2 dedicated harness that is fitted to the bike. I tried looking for a wiring diagram but with no luck.

Thanks for looking Robbo.
I looked for a wiring diagram myself but to no avail.
I also looked for a diagram for the optional controller but no luck there either.
Hopefully, someone has a battery pack, charger, controller, etc and can check the output to let me know.
I already have a couple of connections to the battery for heated grips and a CTEK battery conditioner, so wanted to minimise the number of connections by splicing onto the CTEK cable and soldering a universal SAE connector, to which I can plug in an Exo2 conversion cable.
I guess if I don't get any luck regarding finsing out which polarity the connector is, I'll have to bite the bullet and get a dedicated Exo2 battery connector.

Yep, I see where you're coming from. It's difficult keeping the wiring for additional gadgets neat and tidy as space is always tight. Twenty odd years ago you just hoped your battery wasn't flat. Now it's like, how am I going to fit this satnav, phone charger socket, Optimate charge lead, heated gloves/clothing lead, spot lights etc :lol

Plug it into the mains, just to test it's working. Smile
