FZS600 Headlight and Fairing conversion from a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 - Geowulf - 14-10-19 Many years ago, I had a lovely FZS600 that I used to commute between Wolverhampton and Nottingham a couple of time a week. The one thing I hated were the poor lights, especially o the A38 in the winter. I did a bit of research and found that a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 subframe would fit the 600, a little more research, I found the Gen 1 Fazer headlights and fairing and infill panels would fit straight on. The only thing I had to tinker with was the wiring loom for the lights, but it only took an hour of trial and error before I had fully working headlights from a 1000 on my 600. If anyone is interested in doing this, I have all the components from a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 to do the conversion except for the LH infill panel and mirrors. Front Subframe Fairing Headlights Screen RH Infill Panel No mirrors or LH Infill Panel £300 Re: FZS600 Headlight and Fairing conversion from a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 - gerkin - 17-10-19 Looks great Re: FZS600 Headlight and Fairing conversion from a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 - Steve3351 - 22-10-19 COOL...! that looks great...but are the 1000 lights significantly better than the FZS600.....? I had to fit cheap Chinese spotlights to mine....but still not great. Re: FZS600 Headlight and Fairing conversion from a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 - Steve3351 - 22-10-19 PS wot colour is the fairing u have...? Re: FZS600 Headlight and Fairing conversion from a Gen 1 Fazer 1000 - Geowulf - 22-10-19 The FZ1 Gen 1 headlights are on another level compared to the FZ600, you wouldn't believe it was the same bike ![]() I have two fairings, both are silver tech S3, one is OEM but has damage that is repairable, the other is a patten fibre glass fairing that is brand new. The OEM fairing came off this bike: |
