s/s braided brake hoses - bazza - 01-04-19 anyone had any experience with wezmoto. found them on ebay, never heard of them but thinking must be better than my 20 year old rubber ones. seem bit cheaper than goodridge/hel. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-FZS600-Fazer-1998-2003-Wezmoto-Stainless-Steel-Braided-Hoses-Kit/143137122947?epid=11004123470&hash=item2153a32a83:g:NHMAAMXQbflSNkej:rk:9:pf:0 Re: s/s braided brake hoses - Fazerider - 01-04-19 Never heard of them but, as you say, they've got to be safer than twenty year-old rubber. Alternatively, Venhill do twin line hoses for a similar price. (Easier to bleed as there's no need for the splitter under the headlight.) Re: s/s braided brake hoses - redmandan - 01-04-19 I went with cobras like daviee suggested, got front and rear though. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-FZS600-Fazer-1998-2003-2-front-1-rear-Cobra-Braided-Brake-Hoses-/183650889280?nav=SEARCH They came in some HEL packaging and I’m told they’re made to HEL standard under license in the UK. Top stuff but tbh any braided brake line will be a great improvement on standard lines and will last many years. Re: s/s braided brake hoses - Salty - 03-04-19 Recently fitted the Wesmoto rear and front race. Good quality and fitted well. Re: s/s braided brake hoses - F4celess - 04-04-19 I've fitted Venhill braided hoses on my Fazer, very pleased with these. Plus cosmetically look great too. ![]() (there were a few sellers on EBay stocking these). Yes, if you go for the "RACE" configuration, you get 2 individual hoses that go from the Reservoir, straight down to the Caliper (each side). Not a split from 1 hose to 2 (at the lower fork clamp), with the Junction in the centre, as per the standard config on the Fazer. I've heard of a company wemoto (their website is great for OEM bike spares), but not "wesmoto"... Re: s/s braided brake hoses - chris.turton - 04-04-19 Fitted some about a month ago, no problems at all Re: s/s braided brake hoses - Arfa - 04-04-19 TBF the last set of Hel hoses only cost me £75 at the MCN show, front & back. If you hunt around for a discount code, you can probably get a similar price anytime. Re: s/s braided brake hoses - fazersharp - 04-04-19 Years ago I went for the Hel front race lines. Two line come from a double banjo bolt at the leaver so you can do away with the crossover bar across the forks. IMO it looks a lot neater without the bar. |
