Well looked after examples with the usual sensible upgrades that “Pieater” explains in the top “sticky” we all know it benefits from, will likely appeal to ex owners & value it the most, that said It was a classic when it first came out & will always be one.?

This wont have any effect, I guess every classic would need to pay in a ULEZ. I've got a 2003 E500 Merc estate. Quite rare and wont lose any value because it'll cost an extra £12 to get into London.

Only when you want to buy it, not a future classic when you want to sell it

I have owned over 60 bikes and have to admit that my Fazer is the best all rounder there is... this link from a Bennetts Journo Below...

As VNA says everything is becoming a future classic,  but what does a bike have to have to stand above the crowd?
The FZS 1000 to me is all the bike I need and having had a few bikes, don't see any other bike I need or more Importantly can afford.
Just wandering if the word "future classic " is a understatement?

I’m with Will on this, I’ve not quite had 60 bikes (owned 22 over 16 years), but I’ve ridden dozens more though. I keep asking myself which bike could be better than the Fazer thou? It’s the only bike I’ve ever had that does everything I need up to about 90%! I’ve yet to find a bike that does it all at 100%

That on its own makes the bike a ‘benchmark’, and definitely a future classic!
