Poxy oil filter won’t budge - Kenbob - 29-12-18 for the life of me I can’t seem to unscrew my oil filter. What can I do before I resort to a hammer and screwdriver and possibly foc it for good. Re: Poxy oil filter won’t budge - robbo - 29-12-18 I always use a cup wrench and have never had a problem. This has an internal profile that fits the flats on the filter. I guess they would be ok if the filter wasn’t so tightly on, lord knows when the filter was replaced.
