Farewell but not goodbye - deeteefifty - 23-12-18 Just a note to thank you all for you fantastic help, a bit of a laugh and advice, this is one of the most active, informative sites I've discovered. I had an itch to scratch and unfortunately the Fazer had to make room for another (ahem) bike, a bigger garage would be nice. The Fazer is a fantastic bike for all round use, anybody with around £1000 to spend on a do all bike would need their head examining for not trying one. Thanks again. Re: Farewell but not goodbye - BBROWN1664 - 23-12-18 You could stick that one in the cupboard under the stairs to keep space for the fazer Re: Farewell but not goodbye - deeteefifty - 23-12-18 ? I wasn't permitted to bin the hoover Re: Farewell but not goodbye - red98 - 23-12-18 Another good choice of bike :thumbup ...........give it a while and the fazer will become "the bike i should of kept" :'( :lol Re: Farewell but not goodbye - deeteefifty - 23-12-18 That's why I didn't say goodbye?. There's plenty I should've kept. For the life of me I can't understand why she thought living in the garage thus freeing up the house for bikes wouldn't work. Re: Farewell but not goodbye - His Dudeness - 24-12-18 I'd love one of those bikes. They look like a lot of fun. What sort of MPG do you get on them? Re: Farewell but not goodbye - robbo - 24-12-18 Had an ST70 new in 1974, bought it for the missus to get to work on. Threw it in a skip 10 years later...... we all live and learn. Re: Farewell but not goodbye - deeteefifty - 24-12-18 His Dudeness, I'll guess mpg similar to C70, C90 step ins. The main reason I got it is to do a couple of long distance trials next year, just for kicks, I suppose I better find out the range of a full tank. Re: Farewell but not goodbye - Bretty - 27-12-18 I had a 125 after seeing monkey bikes everywhere during a trip to Southern France. This went in the boot of my 1-series bmw and came around Devon and Cornwall. Fun for round town in Summer. Re: Farewell but not goodbye - deeteefifty - 27-12-18 Been looking at astonishingly cheap new Lifan 125 engines, a few genuine parts adds up to the price of one. Yours doesn't look like a Lifan, did you fit it? Re: Farewell but not goodbye - Bretty - 27-12-18 Mine was a French 'Spigaou' bike which was originally supplied with a 125 engine, so cheaper to insure as not modified. Chinese bike built to a marginally higher French/European specification... Well that's what I told the guy that bought it off me. ;-) Re: Farewell but not goodbye - deeteefifty - 28-12-18 ![]() |
