Coolant dribble..... - nedworthy - 20-12-18 Just started to drain coolant and it’s barely dribbling out , no gush as I’d expect. Does this suggest a blockage somewhere ? Re: Coolant dribble..... - fazersharp - 20-12-18 Did you take the filler cap off.Take it off and put the bucket 2 feet away from the drain hole ![]() It should look like this Re: Coolant dribble..... - fazersharp - 20-12-18 More stuff here http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,10671.msg112914.html#msg112914 Re: Coolant dribble..... - darrsi - 20-12-18 Should really clean the system out with Radflush before refilling, but probably too late now. Re: Coolant dribble..... - fazersharp - 20-12-18 Don't think he's got the old out yet Re: Coolant dribble..... - nedworthy - 20-12-18 Yep did all the right things with caps etc - got up to a steady trickle :z and eventually cleared, then gave a blast through with distilled water. Probably should have done Rad flush but things looked pretty clean so will do that next time ... thnkx peeps for comments Re: Coolant dribble..... - darrsi - 20-12-18 (20-12-18, 04:55 PM)nedworthy link Wrote: Yep did all the right things with caps etc - got up to a steady trickle :z and eventually cleared, then gave a blast through with distilled water. It"s the scaling in and around the waterways, similar to a kettle, which you can't see that is what needs looking after. Just makes sense to do it whenever you replace the coolant, to keep everything in good nick. Re: Coolant dribble..... - nedworthy - 20-12-18 X ray vision :eek ....... ![]() |
