3K Tacho fault - Billy Balthorpe - 24-07-18

On my Gen 1 1000, ive noticed occasionally that the tacho drops to zero, and then pops up and starts reading normally again, I thought it may have been a loose plug in the back of the clocks. Ive seen the 7K Exup fault lots of times before so i know how they are displayed. Then very recently i think the fault stayed around long enough for the fault code to be displayed properly, it went to 3K which i believe is a Throttle Position Sensor fault. Can anyone confirm this please?

Also, is it a matter of adjusting the position (if possible) of the sensor or are we talking about scrapping it and buying another one?

The fault codes are all listed on the FAQ at the top of the main page, and yes the 3k code is the TPS. Guidance for adjusting the TPS can be found on Pat's site, the FAQ has a link.

Ok, ive looked and looked but the only FAQ i can find are in the Help section directly under the "FAZER Owners Club Unofficial" at the top of this page. There are only 4 posts in it and none of them are anything to do with Fault Codes or Links to helpful sites.

What do you mean by "The main page"?

Sorry to be such a numpty, but i just cant find any more FAQ's at the top of this, the main, or any other page.
