ARRRRGGGHHH Front ended. Fecking TAXI !!!! - Barlord - 13-06-18
Bloody taxi driver stopped at junction, looked at me and waited... Obvs I was still cautious and dropped to about 20mph, then he crawled out and headed straight at me!!!My flipping balls are crushed and my beautiful T-Reg fzs600 with just 36000 miles, is now going to get written off.
Happy i've only got crushed nuts, broken finger and some hip damage but my bike. 12yrs we've been together.Just thought i'd share :'(

Bloody hell. Nightmare...
From bitter experience - don't be too hasty to get signed off as fit by anyone medical involved in your case. Some stuff can take a while to emerge and once you've agreed you're recovered there is no "adding" to the claim.

Really sorry to hear this BUT could have been much worse. Get properspecialist advice & dont necessarily rely on your insurance company to act in your best interest.
Having been "sideswiped" by a half-asleep private hire driver early one morning this class of road USER (wont say driver!!) is top of my list for dangerous,unpredicable, inexplicable road behaviour. You have to always assume worst case scenario at intersections,junctions etc. Hope the B**L ache goes soon!

Also speaking from experience... When you're proceeding with a personal injury claim just go along with all the appointments and even the ones that seem a ridiculously long way to travel for a 5 minute consultation - don't forget to record the mileage or travel fares. If you go along with everything as asked your claims guys will be reasonably prompt when dealing with you, if you question an appointment or ask why it's dragging on so long you might find that you are not treated so great as they will concentrate on someone else instead.
Crushed nuts ought to be worth 10K at a minimum!

Sorry to hear this. I agree that taxi drivers, who should be among the safest and most expert drivers on the road, are the worst.
